Clippers coach Doc Rivers told reporters that Jordan, the NBA’s second-leading rebounder, is not expected to miss significant time and that he wanted to play in Saturday afternoon’s game.
Jordan, who has played 714 games over his 10 NBA seasons, rolled the ankle during Thursday’s victory against Sacramento when he landed awkwardly in the lane after dunking off a lob pass.
After Thursday’s game, Jordan tweeted a GIF with the message “I’m good actually.”
The two-time NBA rebounding champion is averaging 11.8 points, 14.9 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 41 games this season.
